Booking Your Test

There is one official booking route: www.gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test. Ignore any third-party sites that offer to book on your behalf. The official service says you must book online at least 3 days in advance, and the test costs £50.

When you book, you choose from over 30 test centres in the UK. You will need an email address, a debit or credit card, and an accepted form of ID. The name you enter when booking must exactly match the name on the ID you use.
